The scope of this project included repair and upgrade of the building Mechanical and Electrical Systems as well as interior demolition and fitup for the 120,000 sq.ft. building originally constructed in 1970 as the Cheseborough-Ponds Headquarters. All work was performed while the building was occupied.
Mechanical and Electrical work included:
-Repair and upgrade of the existing building air handling systems including the installation of new VFDs, coils, damper assemblies in the existing air handlers.
-Replacement of an existing absorption chiller with a new centrifugal chiller.
-Installation of a new DDC based building control system.
-Interior Fitup for approximately 120,000 sq.ft. with new VAV, HVAC, Sprinkler, and Fire Alarm throughout.
-Design of Data Communications Systems for all 120,000 sq.ft.

PHYSICIANS HEALTH SERVICE
SHELTON, CT
This project involved the renovations and reconfiguration of the three buildings totaling over 300,000 sq.ft. originally constructed as Headquarters and Research Facility for Richardson-Vick. The site included three buildings: Building ‘A’ - 60,000 sq.ft. office building and Building ‘B’ - 130,000 sq.ft. Laboratory/Research building, both built in 1980, and Building ‘C’- 120,000 sq.ft. office building built in 1988.
The work consisted of Interior Renovation in Buildings ‘A’ and ‘C’ to accommodate PHS’s requirements and a major Renovation to Building ‘B’ to convert it from a Laboratory Facility to office space.

GENERAL ELECTRIC
STAMFORD, CT
This project involved a complete Interior Demolition and Renovation of the site previously occupied by Walden Books. The existing facility consisted of two interconnected buildings; the first, a 3-story, 60,000 sq.ft. building was built in 1976, and the second, a 120,000 sq.ft. addition was built in 1988.
In addition to approximately 170,000 sq.ft. of Interior Renovation, specific Engineering features of the project included:
-Upgrade and Expansion of the existing 5,000 sq.ft. Computer Room.
-Installation of a 25 Station 2,500 sq.ft. Trading Floor.
-Installation of a full Sprinkler System in the older building.
-New addressable Fire Alarm System throughout both buildings.
-Replacement of existing chillers:
-Upgrade of older building HVAC Systems to chilled water.
-Installation of redundant 500 KVA UPS Systems for Trading and Computer Room.
